Acupuncture is an ancient system of healing developed in China over several thousand years. It restores and maintains health by the insertion of small, fine, flexible needles into acupuncture points just below the body surface.
Most patients will experience a relaxed and comfortable feeling after treatment and may receive other therapeutic benefits in addition to relief from their main symptoms. The aim of treatment, in addition to relieving the main symptoms, is to restore overall harmony and health to the individual.
